ZYN is the nicotine pouch brand most customers know by name. It is made by Swedish Match, part of Philip Morris International, and for many shops it is the first brand on the shelf. Customers often ask for "a ZYN" the same way they ask for a brand of cigarettes. This guide explains the ZYN range, the difference between Slim and Mini, and how to put together a ZYN wholesale order that sells through in your shop.
Why stock ZYN
- Customers ask for it by name. ZYN needs little explanation at the counter, which makes it easy to sell.
- Clean, simple flavours. The range is built around classic mints, with a smaller set of fruit and special flavours.
- Light strengths. Most ZYN products are in our light group, which suits the majority of everyday users and new customers.
- Slim format. ZYN Slim pouches are thin and discreet, a format many regular users prefer.
Slim or Mini: the two ZYN formats
Most ZYN flavours come in two pouch sizes. Knowing the difference helps you answer customer questions and choose the right mix.
| Format | What it is | Examples we stock |
|---|---|---|
| Slim | Thin, long pouch. The main ZYN format and usually the best seller | Cool Mint Slim, Spearmint Slim, Peppermint Slim, Black Cherry Slim |
| Mini | Small, short pouch with lower nicotine. Good for new users and light users | Cool Mint Mini, Spearmint Mini, Citrus Mini, Peach Mini |
A simple rule: stock your best-selling flavours in Slim first, then add a few Minis for customers who want something milder.
The ZYN range by flavour

| Fruit-mint | Apple Mint Slim, Apple Mint Mini, Watermelon Mint Slim |

A starter ZYN range for a shop
Most retailers can cover ZYN demand with 8–10 SKUs. This mix is a good starting point:
- ZYN Cool Mint Slim
- ZYN Spearmint Slim
- ZYN Peppermint Slim
- ZYN Cool Mint Ice
- ZYN Apple Mint Slim
- ZYN Watermelon Mint Slim
- ZYN Black Cherry Slim
- ZYN Citrus Slim
- ZYN Cool Mint Mini
Order more rolls of the mints, which usually reorder fastest, and fewer of each fruit flavour. After the first month, move budget from slow flavours to the ones that sell through. Nine SKUs at 2–3 rolls each gets you close to our 24-roll minimum, and you can top up with other brands.
ZYN next to VELO and other brands
Many customers are loyal to one brand, so shops that carry both ZYN and VELO lose fewer sales. ZYN is strongest on classic mint in Slim format, while VELO offers a wider flavour list. If customers ask for higher strengths, combine ZYN with brands from our medium and strong groups, where your market allows it. Always check the nicotine limits and rules in your country before you order. As the importer, you are responsible for what you sell.
